Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi says a detailed report on a disappointing Nations Cup campaign will calm nerves.

A two-day meeting has been examining reports into the performance of the squad and coach Goran Stevanovic.

The Black Stars have suffered their worst abuse after failing to win the Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

There have been talks of disquiet in Ghana's camp and issues of gambling which destabilized team unity.

Nyantakyi says details of their search will dispel some of these rumours.

"We believe that the report will form the basis for far reaching decisions to be taken on the future of the team with regarding issues relating to management technical and what have you," Nyantakyi said after meeting with Vice president John Mahama.

"We owe Ghanaians an explanation, and hopefully the report will be ready after which, we shall forward it to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for onward transmission.

"We also believe that our interaction with the Vice-president will also afford him first hand information on some of the issues that have probably made their way into the media."

The Football Association will meet the media at a news conference on Wednesday afternoon.
