Milan are set to act on their interest in Leeds United winger Raphinha, who is also a transfer target for the Merseyside giants. Brazil international arrived at Leeds United in the summer transfer window of last year, signing from Stade Rennais.
Raphinha soon became a hit at Elland Road with a series of fantastic displays and ended his debut season with a decent return of six goals and nine assists from 30 PL games. Despite Leeds‘ struggles, the 24-year-old winger has also made a solid start to the new campaign, bagging five goals in ten matches.
The Brazilian attacker has also recently broken into the national team and has scored twice in five matches for Tite’s side. His exploits have not gone unnoticed, with the Reds taking a keen interest in the South American forward.
Indeed, Liverpool were interested in signing former Stade Rennais winger during the summer itself, but a move never materialised. However, Liverpool have continued to monitor his development as they look to strengthen their front-line further.
