Former Inter and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is said to be open to joining Manchester United as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Fabrizio Romano has reported about the managerial situation at Old Trafford, reporting that the next few hours will determine the future of Solskjaer at United. The club’s board is divided about whether to stick with the Norwegian or axe him.
He stated that while United have made no contact with Antonio Conte or Zinedine Zidane yet, the Italian will be open to ‘understanding the project’ on offer at the red side of Manchester.
This comes after it was reported in England by Manchester Evening News that Conte is indeed open to taking over at United but has concerns about the club’s hierarchy.
