PREMIER - Arsenal hitman Martinelli: "I still need to be patient"

Published on: 29 November 2021

Speaking up about Arsenal defeating Newcastle in latest PL home game of theirs, and about his goal, which he scored after having entered the clash as a substitute, Gunners striker Gabriel "Gabi" Martinelli stated:

"Of course, I need to be patient, as I always say, if I play 10 or 20 minutes, I have to play well and be ready to play. I love the fans, and I’m so happy to be here, playing for this club. Besides, I'm really glad we won against Magpies.

We knew that the game was going to be hard, but we came prepared to it, and I’m so happy. To be fair I don’t remember very well about the goal! I think Martin Dubravka played it wide to Tomi and I just thought ‘I’d go to the box and try to head it’ and I finished the ball. I’m just happy to have scored this goal".
