PREMIER - Chelsea: contracts extension for three midfielders

Published on: 22 September 2021

Chelsea have some work to do with their managerial players' overtime. The Blues are already working on the cases of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger, both of whom will expire next June. Negotiations with the Dane are on track, which is a bit different for the German, who would be followed by Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

In addition to those two players, Chelsea are also considering extending Jorginho and N’Golo Kanté, according to the Evening Standard. The two midfielders are still under contract until 2023, but at Stamford Bridge we do not want to leave any room for doubt and the club had anticipated the negotiations at the end of last season. Discussions are also open for Mason Mount.
