The Blues are expected to hand Chelsea forward star Mason Mount with a gigantic pay rise as talks of his contract extension come into light. He was Chelsea’s Player of the Campaign in their 2020/21 Champions League winning season.
According to Goal.com, the contract renewal deal will include a paycheck much higher than his current £75,000 per week that will make him one of the highest earners in the team. The Blues academy product has been one of the club’s best players in recent memory and retaining him within the ranks will be of utmost priority.
Chelsea are currently working on deals for Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Trevoh Chalobah.
