English Premier League clubs West Ham United and Norwich City are chasing Inter full-back Davide Santon.

The 25-year-old only returned to the Nerazzurri in January 2015, initially on-loan, following four years with Newcastle United in the Premier League, but has struggled to hold down a regular place in Roberto Mancini’s side this season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Santon’s agent[Claudio Vigorelli] held a meeting with Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio on Thursday afternoon to discuss the defenders future with the Biscione, while also informing the director of the Premier League duo’s interest in his client.

The Portomaggiore born full-back began his career with the Milanese club in 2008 before spending a short spell on-loan at Cesena in 2011.

After a string of impressive displays, an €8 million move to the North-East of England with the Magpies followed in August 2011, before he returned to Inter on a permanent basis in the summer of 2015 after his contract was terminated with the Premier League outfit.
