Premier League trio watching Kwadwo Asamoah

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been watching Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah closely.

This suggests a move for the young midfielder could be on the cards for at least one of England's top sides.

The 22-year-old currently plays for Italian Serie A side Udinese and first joined the side permanently in 2009 after spending a brief period on loan there from Bellinzona.

The strong left footer is somewhat of a utility midfielder, able to play centrally or on the left.

Some may remember his appearances at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where his performances, which did not go unnoticed, brought with it much interest from the English sides.

However City, Manchester United and Arsenal will face competition from within Italy with Napoli also keeping a watchful eye on the midfielder.

At the time of joining Udinese, Asamoah was valued at around €800,000 however any bids less than £4m are unlikely to be taken seriously.

Should the Premiership sides received good enough scouting reports over the remainder of the season then a bid during next summer by at least one of the sides would be likely.
