Former Black Stars Stars forward Prince Tagoe has disclosed plans to play a season with Hearts of Oak before he hangs his boots from the game.

Tagoe recently returned to Ghana after a short stint in Bangladesh elite division with Chittagong Abahani Limited SC.

The veteran striker has been training personally before the 2019/2020 Ghanaian football season was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking on Angel TV on Tuesday, the experienced striker noted that he will want to have one last dance with Hearts of Oak before he retires from football.

“I am planning to play one season for Hearts of Oak. I cannot say when but it is going to be soon," he said.

"Definitely I have to don the Rainbow colours again. That is what I have told myself."

The 33-year-old played for the Phobians in the Ghana Premier League from 2004 to 2005 before moving to Saudi Arabia side Al Ittihad Jeddah.

Tagoe was top scorer of the Ghanaian top-flight in 2005 where he netted 18 goals and earned himself the name "Prince of Goals".

He also played for Al Shabab and Ettifaq FC in Saudi Arabia before joining German side TSG Hoffenheim in 2009.

Tagoe also had stints with Serbian side FK Partizan Belgrade on loan and Bursaspor in Turkey.
