Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has shared his enthusiasm for the quality of the playing surface at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors are using the Len Clay Stadium as their temporary home ground due to the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium following a ban imposed by CAF.
Kotoko are set to face league newcomers Young Apostles at the venue in a Matchday 3 clash on Sunday, September 22.
In anticipation of the game, Coach Ogum praised the condition of the pitch.
“The Obuasi Len Clay Stadium is known for its high-quality pitch,” he said.
“All you need is to have a good game plan and hope for some luck on matchday. We're prepared for the game against Young Apostles on Sunday,” he added.
Asante Kotoko aim to continue their positive start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, following their victory over Karela United in the opening round.
Kick-off for Sunday's match is scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
