PSG boss Tuchel: "We don't want to hand CAVANI out, but it might happen"

Published on: 22 January 2020

Asked about almost 33-year old Uruguayan star striker Edinson Cavani's near future, PSG boss, Thomas Tuchel, stated: "I still think the same things about the group I manage: I like it in its entirety, and in every single member of it. We don't want to hand Cavani out, but we have to face the fact it might happen. If it happens, we'll handle it. I'm meeting him in a few days, then he's going to have to fight over a position in the team, as anybody else here. He suffered from a lot of injuries: neither his fault, nor ours. I can figure how training alone, as he often had to, is not easy". El Matador is tracked hard by Atletico Madrid, as well as by Chinese, UAE and Qatari clubs.
