PSG coach Blanc says Aurier won\'t face Chelsea

Published on: 29 February 2016

Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier is out of their Champions League second-leg clash with Chelsea.

Aurier has not played for the French champions after PSG suspended the 23-year-old two weeks ago for making insulting remarks about coach Laurent Blanc and several of his teammates during a Periscope live session.

"You need to analyse the decision that has been made. He will rejoin the first team squad, but will be available for the reserves until that time," Blanc said.

"In a case such as this, a very difficult case, you have to try and make the right decision. There is also the legal side of things to be taken into account.

"That can make things more complicated. The club made its decision yesterday after discussion involving all parties. I think the most suitable decision was made."
