Moussa Sissoko has revealed Blaise Matuidi had his heart set on a move to Juventus way back at Euro 2016.
After a trophy-laden five years at Paris Saint-Germain, Matuidi was desperate to embark on a new challenge at Juve, according to his France team-mate Sissoko, but his club to blocked the transfer.
"At Clairefontaine [France's training centre], I was often with him in the room,” Spurs midfielder Sissoko told FourFourTwo. “I could see that he wanted to leave and certainly wanted a new challenge.”
