Pulis delighted as West Brom stun Arsenal

West Brom boss Tony Pulis was happy to claim three points against Arsenal.

James Morrison's volley and a Mikel Arteta own goal gave the hosts - who only managed one shot on target - victory after Olivier Giroud opened the scoring.

"We're pleased," smiled Pulis. "It's a great result. The players worked so hard. The lads deserve it for the effort and commitment, but we've played better and done better and not got the results.

"Today we had the breaks - let's not mess around, there were certain opportunities when the ball could have hit the back of the net for Arsenal.

"But we've played games here this season when things haven't gone for us.

"Take the last home game here against Leicester where we've had two penalties and their second goal's offside. We deserved the breaks."
