American international Christian Pulisic missed Dortmund’s defeats to Stuttgart on Matchday 12 and Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, but returned to training on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s Revierderby with Schalke.
Pulisic had played in every Bundesliga game until last Friday when muscular problems kept him out of Dortmund’s trip to Stuttgart. The 19-year-old had a key role in the club’s superb start to the season and is in contention to return for the visit of Schalke at the weekend.
