Midfielder Uriah Asante havde joined-up with his teammates at the national U-23 camp on Wednesday.
The Pure Joy FC player arrived from South Africa where he has been undorgoing trials with Premier Division side, Amazulu.
However, a reported deal offered by the club after impressing during the trial period is yet to be signed by teenager - opening a window of opportunity for Hearts of Oak to pounce.
"Well, I have finished with my trials there but negotiations are still ongoing with my club," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The 19-year-old featured in the Black Meteors' 1-1 draw with Premier League side, Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.
