Mauricio Pochettino believes his Tottenham Hotspur will only improve in the final seven matches of the Premier League season.

With only the league to worry about following Thursday's Europa League elimination, Pochettino is of the belief that Spurs will find it easier to get themselves ready for games now that they will come every seven days until the campaign concludes in May.

Following Sunday's convincing 3-0 win over Bournemouth, Pochettino said his second-placed side can now really put the pressure on league leaders Leicester City, whom they trail by five points.

"It's true we go into a different period now to recently," Pochettino said.

"After the international break we'll play one game every week, and we'll have time to prepare games in a different way, to training, to improve and do a lot of things that were impossible before.

"We are in a moment where we need to see our future in a very good way. It's important to keep working hard and fight in every game."

Harry Kane scored an early brace before Christian Eriksen wrapped it up early in the second half as Spurs flexed their muscle with another impressive display.
