Ghanaian midfielder Yusif Rahman Chibsah netted for Gaziantep FK in their 3-1 win against Turkish lower-tier side Menemenspor in a friendly encounter on Thursday.
Gaziantep engaged in their first game of the year in preparations for the second half of the Turkish Supalig.
It was a worthwhile practice for the Red and Black outfit as they showed much improvement in the second half after playing almost an even game in the first half where they went up 1-0 through Güray Vural.
Goals from Kenan Özer and Rahman Chibsah in the 66th and 76th minute respectively put Gaziantep FK in the driving seat before Mehmet Boztepe grabbed a consolation for Menemenspor in the 89th minute.
Chibsah was the only Ghanaian to feature for Gaziantep in the match as Aziz Tetteh and Patrick Twumasi were not named in the squad.
