Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul-Rahman was phenomenal in Greuther Furth’s 1-1 draw against Stoke City on Friday.

The 17-year-old lasted 65 minutes for the newly promoted Bundeliga side in the friendly played at the Troli Arena in Furth.

The former Asante Kotoko left-back combined very well with Tobias Mikkelsen who was brought in from Danish champions Nordsjaelland on the left side of Furth’s midfield.

His surging offensive runs and solidity at the back was a source of excitement for the numerous spectators who witnessed the game.

Rahman’s display has solicited a lot of interest from the German press and has also alerted bigger clubs of his prospects.

Already, scouts of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City are reportedly monitoring his progress with an intention of snapping him up within two-years.

Rahman has just began his football career in Germany after signing a 5-year-deal with Gruether Furth following a successful campaign with Asante Kotoko last term.
