Raiola on Pogba's future: December is the month of dreams

Published on: 17 November 2021

Mino Raiola has intimated that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could be on the move in the January transfer window.

The Frenchman's contract at Old Trafford comes to an end on June 30, so he will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club from January 1 if he does not move in January.

"It's too early to speak about Paul Pogba's contract [with Manchester United]. Let's see what happens. I can't stop anyone from dreaming about him," Raiola told TMW.

"December is the month of dreams... and I can't stop dreams, but it is better to not speak about Paul. If some former Man United players don't speak about me and Paul, they won't work anymore."

Donnarumma and De Ligt

Raiola was also quizzed about two of his other clients, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Matthijs de Ligt, and he is confident that the Italian will displace Keylor Navas as Paris Saint-Germain's No.1.

"I don't know if it's a problem, but I'm sure about how this PSG goalkeeper situation will end up. And it's going to end up well for Donnarumma. It will take time and patience, it will be resolved," he added.

Regarding De Ligt, he refused to confirm whether the centre-back will remain at Juventus beyond next summer.

"Staying at Juventus or leaving? We should do this interview in May... it's November now. It's not time to talk about it," Raiola said.
