Dr. Randy Abbey, chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, has praised Sports Minister Kofi Adams for his significant contributions to Ghana's 2026 World Cup qualifying wins.
"He was very, very instrumental," Dr. Abbey said. "He worked extremely well."
The Black Stars recently defeated Chad 5-0 and Madagascar 3-0, ending a nine-month winless streak.
Minister Adams played a crucial role in the team's success, ensuring that the stadium was ready and all the team's requirements were met.
Dr. Abbey attributed the team's upturn in form to the restructured Black Stars management team.
"I'll like to thank him for what he has done for the team and I hope that we'll continue working together as a team," he added.
With the Black Stars now sitting on top of the table, the will hope to get the most of their remaining opponents to book a place in the USA, Mexico, Canada World Cup.
