Rangers fans have rejected the prospect of signing Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban, with the Ghanaian linked to the Scottish giants.

According to reports, Ekuban has drawn interest from Rangers and Serie A side Lazio. The two clubs are said to be monitoring the attacker with Rangers very much interested in signing him in the summer.

Trabzonspor have placed a £9m price tag on Ekuban, whom they paid Leeds United £900k for in July 2019.

Following the reports, a Scottish website launched a poll with 53 percent voting 'No' which means they don't want Ekuban at the club.

The reasons provided is the 25-year-old is not worth £9m price tag.

Though Ekuban spent the first half of the 2019/2020 season on the sidelines to nurse a nasty injury, he has recovered and is now one of the best players for Trabzonspor.

In his last 6 matches, he has chipped in with 3 goals and 2 assists. While his value is set to go up in the next transfer window, Lazio and Rangers are expected to fight over his signature.
