Raphael Dwamena leaves Real Zaragoza after loan spell

Published on: 04 July 2020

Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena has left Spanish Segunda division outfit Real Zaragoza at the end of his loan spell.

The lanky forward's loan stint ended on June 30, but the club failed to extend his contract despite the extension of the season due to COVID-19.

Raphael Dwamena returns to parent club Levante, where his future remains uncertain after suffering a heart problem midway through the season.

The Ghana international is yet to make an appearance since October last year after it was detected that he had a heart condition.

It is yet to be known if he would return to the pitch in future but his contract with Levante expires in June 2022.

Dwamena made 9 appearances for Los Blanquillos and scored twice before suffering the setback.
