Rashford provides fans with relatable insight into his Netflix habits

Published on: 09 April 2020

Marcus Rashford, just like many of us right now, has amusingly admitted he is trying to balance his Netflix schedule so that he doesn't get bored too quickly during the lockdown.

The Manchester United striker took part in a Q&A session with BT Sport duo Rio Ferdinand and Jake Humphrey and was quizzed on a matter of subjects - relating to both on and off the pitch.

With many trying to keep as occupied as possible during the coronavirus lockdown, plenty have flocked to Netflix to stay entertained and Rashford has revealed he is in the same boat.

During the Q&A session, Rashford was asked whether there was any TV series or books that he recommended, to which the England international replied: 'I am just watching Ozark now, I think Money Heist came out the other day.'

He added: 'There's one of a kid from America, Gabriel Fernandez I think it's called – but to be honest, I am trying to take my time, I don't want to watch them all at once.

'So I have been mixing it up, watching TV, playing PlayStation. You know I don't want to get bored.'

But while fans were given a unique insight into his schedule during lockdown, talk inevitably led back to football.

The England international was also asked by a fan who his favourite ever United player is.

Rashford amusingly snubbed Ferdinand before being emphatic in his response - labelling Wayne Rooney as his favourite.

The 22-year-old said: I am not saying him (Ferdinand), he's a centre half.

'I'd probably say Wazza – he has obviously been a massive part of my development and it was just a dream come true to play with him on the pitch after watching him for so many years.'
