Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila played his first game for Al Qadsia on Tuesday evening since completing his permanent move from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 22-year-old’s new club beat Kuwait’s U20 national team 3-0 in their first pre-season friendly match.

Sumaila as usual featured prominently for the Emir Cup winners.

The former Asante Kotoko loaned made his loan move to Al Qadsia permanent a few weeks ago.

Details of his permanent move from Mamelodi Sundowns however remain concealed.
