Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila is set to leave Red Star Belgrade after failing to join the Serbian giants' winter training camp. 

The 26-year-old was part of coach Vladan Milojevic's squad but has not joined the team because he is desperate to leave the club after just six months.

According to reports, Sumaila seeking to return to his Kuwaiti club Al Qadisiya where he is guaranteed more playing time.

 

Sumaila signed a one-year loan deal with Red Star Belgrade last summer.

However, has struggled to establish himself in the team. He has made only five appearances in all competition for the club.
