Defender Rashid Sumaila is expected to arrive in the Black Stars camp on Monday night for Ghana’s friendly against Turkey on Wednesday.

The Sundowns player will leave Ghana by Monday afternoon to join his international teammates for the match to be played in Istanbul.

Sumaila will join a host of players expected to arrive in the Black Stars camp on Monday night.

Only Solomon Asante alongside coach Akwasi Appiah and the rest of the technical team were able to make the trip on Sunday night.

Debutant Razak Braimah and Christian Atsu were the first to arrive in the Ghana camp before the delegation from Accra.

The Black Stars will have their first training session later in the evening as the rest of the called up 21-man squad arrive Monday afternoon.

The match with Turkey forms part of Ghana’s preparations for their last match in the African second round qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
