Rayo Vallecano coach Paco Jemez is being linked with Valencia.

AS says Los Che chief Jesús García Pitarch is preparing for next season, with a replacement for coach Gary Neville a priority.

Pitarch, since his arrival in January, has been collating information on, among others, Rafa Benítez, Manuel Pellegrini and Guus Hiddink. Owner Peter Lim and his board have also sounded out Andre Villas-Boas and Jorge Sampaoli.

But the Neville experiment has convinced the board that the new coach must be familiar with La Liga, leading them to Jémez.
