Rayo Vallecano have confirmed Ghanaian midfielder Fatau Mohammed will sit out for four weeks with a thigh injury.
The 22-year-old picked up the problem during the side’s 1-0 defeat against Atletico Bilboa in San Mamés Barria over the weekend.
Further test on Wednesday revealed the combative Ghanaian midfielder will remain on the sidelines for a month.
“After medical test conducted on Fatau, the medical team has diagnosed a break in the semitendinosus of the left thigh. The estimated time for his return is four weeks,†a club statement read on the club’s official website.
The former Granada man has featured five times for the side this term.
