Ghana coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has named a strong starting line up for the international friendly against Ivory Coast in Cape Coast.

The former Black Stars captain has made five changes to the line up that started the match against Morocco in Rabat last Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi replaces under-fire Razak Abalora with Baba Abdul Rahman and Alexander Djiku all starting in defence. Andy Yiadom and Daniel Amartey maintain their place in the team.

Captain Andre Ayew and his deputy Thomas Partey are joined by Spezia star Emmanuel Gyasi in a line-up that includes Jordan Ayew and Mohammed Kudus.

The Black Stars lost to the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Tuesday night by a lone goal and will be hoping to make amends against the Elephants tonight.

STARTING XI:

Lawrence Ati Zigi Andy Yaidom Abdul Baba Rahman Daniel Amartey Alexander Djiku Baba Iddrisu Thomas Partey Kudus Mohammed Andre Ayew Jordan Ayew Emmanuel Gyasi
