Mamelodi Sundowns new signing Razak Brimah is unavailable for selection in Sunday's MTN 8 quarter-final Cup match against Maritzburg United.
The Brazilians were not successful in securing the goalkeeper's International Transfer Certificate from the Spanish federation.
Brimah joined the Absa Premiership giants last week on a free transfer after leaving second-tier side Cordoba.
The Ghana international had impressed in training and could have debuted for the club before the PSL starts.
