RC Lens coach Philippe Montanier has exalted the goal scored by Grejohn Kyei in their 2-0 win over AJ Auxerre in the French Ligue 2 over weekend.
The Ghanaian hitman climbed off the bench to slam a magnificent back-stunt strike in the 78th minute to ensure the Blood and Gold lads secure maximum points against Auxerre.
The goal has has earned plaudits from Lens coach Montanier.
”Grejohn Kyei's goal, I appreciate it and hat down for him! When players start the matches on the bench, they can be a weapon. We must have this strength. Substitutes are always disappointed not to start but they can be decisive during the match and this is the most important.”
Kyei joined Lens on a season-long loan from Stade Reims in the summer.
He has netted 4 goals and provided one assist in 17 league games to help the side climb to 4th on the table.
