The Club Licensing Department of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to re-inspect several stadiums that did not receive full approval for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

The affected venues include Aliu Mahama Stadium, Nana Agyeman Badu I Park, Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, and Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Following inspections conducted from August 8 to August 21, 2024, only four venues—Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Dun's Park, and WAFA Park—met the required infrastructure criteria.

The newly inaugurated $16 million TNA Stadium, despite its 13,000-capacity, failed to secure full approval due to the lack of an inner perimeter.

Additionally, the Baba Yara Stadium and Accra Sports Stadium are under conditional approval.

The re-inspection, scheduled for August 30, 2024, will address the outstanding issues at these venues.

The results will be crucial in ensuring all stadiums are compliant before the Ghana Premier League kicks off on September 6, 2024.
