Real Madrid Castilla No2 David Bettoni says Zinedine Zidane is ready for a top job.
Zidane chose to have a second season in charge of Castilla and has the team fighting for the promotion places.
Bettoni explained: "If he wanted to do one more season as the head of the Castilla it is because he felt he needed to progress. Not because he was afraid to expose himself to something new.
"Zidane has great respect for the club, for the hierarchy.
"Is he ready? Yes I do think so. He is already very good at this level. Does he want to? Between us, we never talk about what he would or not do."
