With the conclusion of the domestic league seasons and the European competitions in the continent's top footballing countries, clubs are now turning their attention towards potential incomings and outgoings in this summer transfer window.
Although the transfer window does not officially get underway until June 10, with the majority of deals coming into effect from July 1, there have already been some big dominoes that have fallen.
For example, Erling Haaland has already completed his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City, while Kylian Mbappe has turned down Real Madrid to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
Real Madrid have since turned their attention towards Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni, while reports in the press are also linking Los Blancos with AC Milan forward Rafael Leao.
There are also a number of high-profile players that will be available on free transfers this summer, including Paul Pogba, Franck Kessie, Paulo Dybala, Ousmane Dembele and Angel Di Maria.
