Real Madrid youth player Marc Cucalon has become the youngest person to join the Common Goal initiative founded by Juan Mata, with the Spaniard being just 15 years old.
The organisation sees players donate one percent of their income to support initiatives which have a high social impact.
Cucalon becomes player number 152 to join the movement, sitting alongside Mata himself, Bayern Munich's Serge Gnabry and United States forward Megan Rapinoe.
Born in Zaragoza in November 2004, Cucalon released a video online to make public his decision to join the group.
The Real Madrid under-16's player is focusing on helping the response fund setup to aid the COVID-19 sufferers, and it's hoped they will provide support to young people from communities that are rife with vulnerability and conflict.
"The cause calls you by itself," Cucalon explained.
"We can all help in one way or another, regardless of each person's circumstance.
"Everyone in their own way can help make this world a little bit better."
