Real Madrid's Takuhiro Nakai sensation is starting to stand out

Takefusa Kubo isn't Real Madrid's only young Japanese star in the making, as 17-year-old Takuhiro Nakai is starting to cause heads to turn in the youth categories of Los Blancos.

The club signed Nakai when he was just nine years of age and is now in his seventh season in Madrid's youth sides.

'Pipi', as he is known around the club, is a skilful playmaker who, over the years, bulked up physically and now stands out among his age group.

He started out as an attacking midfielder and in recent seasons has retreated into a deeper position. He's added hard work to his quality, and has started to grab the attention of Castilla coach Raul.

The 17-year-old wants to follow in the footsteps of Kubo, who is currently on loan at Getafe, and is the subject of plenty of attention from rival scouts as well as agents.

In fact, he is signed up to Stellar, the agency led by none other than Jonathan Barnett, the agent of Gareth Bale and Eduardo Camavinga.
