Real Mallorca have confirmed that their midfielder Iddrisu Baba has been invited by Ghana for upcoming friendlies.

The defensive midfielder is included in the 29-man squad named by Black Stars coach Otto Addo for the games against Brazil and Nicaragua.

The Spanish club said Iddrisu Baba will be available for the pre-2022 World Cup friendlies games scheduled for later this month.

The 26-year-old recently recovered from injury and was involved in their 4-1 defeat against Real Madrid last week.

He is expected to play against Almeria at home on Saturday before departing for international duty.

Ghana will play Brazil in France on September 23 and Nicaragua in Spain four days later.

The games are part of the team's preparations for the World Cup, and Iddrisu Baba is expected to play in both.

Iddrisu Baba was instrumental in Ghana's qualification to the Qatar World Cup, where they will face Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay in the group stage.
