Ghana defender Lumor Agbenyenu is set to undergo further examinations after a hamstring injury in Real Mallorca's 1-0 win against Deportivo Alaves on Saturday.

The on-loan Sporting left back could not train with his teammates on Monday because of the set back and he is expected to undergo scans to determine the length of his injury.

Agbenyenu had to be substituted in the 26th minute of the Saturday's game at Son Moix after suffering the injury in the back of his left thigh.

The 23-year-old sat on the floor and called to be treated before he requested to be changed.

The Ghana international has been a key member of the side since joining on loan from Portuguese giants Sporting CP in the summer.

He has made 18 league appearances despite his injury troubles.
