Real Sociedad vs Barcelona line-ups confirmed: Braithwaite in for the injured Messi

Real Sociedad and Barcelona face off on Wednesday night for a place in the Supercopa de Espana final, but the Catalans are without the injured Leo Messi.

A knock suffered in the game against Granada proved slightly more serious than first expected, and so Ronald Koeman has been forced into an unwanted change, as Martin Braithwaite starts in his place.

Meanwhile, the Dutchman has given Sergino Dest a rest and opts to start Oscar Mingueza at right back.

Real Sociedad boss Imanol Aguacil is without David Silva, but he is able to recall Nacho Monreal and Robin Le Normand to the line-up.

Real Sociedad's XI: Alex Remiro; Andonii Gorosabel, Igor Zubeldia, Robin Le Normand, Nacho Monreal; Jon Guridi, Mikel Merino, Ander Guevara; Mikel Oyarzabal, Portu, Alexander Isak.

Barcelona's XI: Marc Andre ter Stegen, Oscar Mingueza, Ronald Araujo, Clement Lenglet Jordi Alba; Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong; Martin Braithwaite, Antoine Griezmann, Pedri, Ousmane Dembele.
