RECAP – Cedar Stars 3-3 Cantonments FC – La Town Park:
Cedar Stars Academy commenced this year’s Greater Accra Division Two League with an exciting fixture at the Mac Dan La Town Park.
Solomon Antonio broke the deadlock seven minutes after half an hour gone, the forward slotted home nicely after being put through on goal.
A miscommunication in our box allowed the visitors to get the equaliser just two minutes after recess.
We were awarded a penalty in the 71st minute but Samuel Boakye failed to restore our lead as his shot from the spot was saved by the goalkeeper.
Few minutes the visitors got the lead with a very fine finish.
Samuel Boakye restored parity with few minutes to full time and Mustapha Hudu sent us infront again on the 90th minute mark.
The visitors had a penalty in added on time and slotted home from the spot end the game in a stalemate.
