Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi has been named in the Italian serie B Team of the Week following his man of the match performance in Spezia's 5-1 thrashing of Cosenza in week 33 of the league.
The 26-year old netted his eight goal of the campaign in that game before providing an assist as the Eagles strolled to a comfortable win.
Gyasi connected an Andrey Galabinov assist in the 20th minute to give his side a 2-0 lead before half time. Spezia were ruthless in the second half, adding three goals to win 5-1.
The Palermo born Ghanaian scored 8.6 rating to make the team of the week, which includes teammates Giuseppe Mastinu.
Gyasi lasted the entire duration after a man of the match performance that lifted his side into promotion play offs spot.
With five games remaining Spezia have a chance of gaining automatic promotion with the difference between them and Crotone only five points.
