Red Star striker Asamoah to complete paperwork in Accra

Striker Nathaniel Asamoah will arrive in Ghana from Serbia on Saturday morning to finalise his documentation on his switch to Red Star Belgrade, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The 22-year-old former Asante Kotoko striker sealed a four-year-old to the former European champions in January after succeeding on trial.

Asamoah is in the process of securing his work permit and is required to acquire a new Ghana passport.

"Asamoah will leave Serbia tonight (Friday) for Ghana to spend two or three days. He has to get a new Ghana passport," a Red Star insider told GHANAsoccernet.com

He is expected back in Belgrade latest by Tuesday to resume training with the club.

He will be hoping to make his official bow for the Red Star in March against Spartak Subotica at the Stadion Crvena Zvezda.
