Vincent Otoo will appear before the Referees Committee on Thursday to defend his performance in opening weekend Tema Youth and Asante Kotoko encounter.

Otoo was reported to have failed to award a obvious penalty kick to Kotoko which later proved decisive in the outcome of the game as it ended 1-1.

If found guilty, Otoo could be withdrawn from the list of match officials for the Premier League for a couple of weeks.

This is one of the few innovations employed by the Premier League Board to ensure improved officiating in the top flight.
