After failing to make a single signing in the transfer window, despite their precarious position at the bottom of the English Premier League, Remi Garde is expected to conisder his future at Aston Villa in the summer.
Garde was understandably hoping for reinforcements to aid his sides battle against the drop, but the transfer window closed with Villa being the only side in the bottom six not to bring in any new faces. Garde was expecting to be backed financially and a failure of the Villa board to do so likely means he will consider his position again in the summer.
