Remy's Marseille exit depends on Jordan Ayew

Marseille chairman Vincent Labrune claims the future of Loic Remy could be directly influenced by that of Jordan Ayew.

Both players continue to be linked with moves away from Stade Velodrome as the summer transfer window draws to a close.

It is, however, highly unlikely that Marseille will sanction the sale of two key performers.

Labrune admits he would have no problem finding a buyer for Remy, with there reported to be Premier League interest in the France international.

Tottenham are understood to have once again entered the race for a striker that has figured prominently on their radar for some time.

Marseille are reluctant to part with Remy, though, and Labrune has revealed that they could offload Ayew, who has been linked with Wigan, in order to balance their books.

He told L'Equipe: "A transfer for Jordan Ayew? It would allow us to end the questions over Loic Remy.

"Remy's situation? We could sell him in two minutes if we wanted to."
