Report: Kotoko to poach two key Hearts players

Published on: 07 June 2011

Another transfer showdown is set between the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana as Asante Kotoko takes aim at two of Hearts of Oak's key players.

Strikers Urea Asante and Douglas Nkrumah are said to be top on Kotoko's shopping list in their aim to mount a serious title challenge in the league next season.

The two players, in particular Douglas Nkrumah who was Hearts' top goalscorer in the just ended league are probably the only two bright spots in the club's disappointing campaign.

Though the interest in the two is yet to be confirmed by the Porcupine Warriors, fans of their sworn rivals have already given indications of their unwillingness to sell their priced assets hoping they'll form the core for next season's squad.
