Returning Emmanuel Boateng to fight for place in Levante team with Dwamena and Marti

Ghana forward Emmanuel Boateng is set to compete for a place in the Levante team with strikers Raphael Dwamena and Roger Marti ahead of the derby game against Valencia on Sunday.

The striking role at Levante has become increasingly competitive with the arrival of Raphael Dwamena, who has made a significant impact in his two appearances for the club.

Roger Marti has been the main man upfront in the club's opening games, scoring in the match day one victory against Real Betis.

Emmanuel Boateng was fans favourite last season after his strong performance against Barcelona saw Levante stop the Spanish Champions who were unbeaten after 44 games.

Meanwhile, Raphael Dwamena comes in with physical presence and versatility in attack as demonstrated in the minutes he has had in the first two games.

Last season goal scoring was a major issue for the Valencia based side, who brought in Armando Sadiku and Pazzini.

However, following Emmanuel Boateng's strong finish to the season and Raphael Dwamena's good start to the season, manager Paco Lopez is left with a big dilemma.
