Former Hearts of Oak striker Reuben Senyo says he holds no regret over his career choice though he didn't make money.

Senyo was a huge fan favourite during his playing days with the Phobians, winning two Premier League titles before departing to Indian to join Viva Kerala.

According to the former towering frontman, he has nothing to show as a former player but does not regret the decision to choose football as his profession.

“In fact, life after football was difficult because I didn’t have money. The truth is one, I did not get money from football. I’m not a wealthy person like those who have mansions and luxurious cars but it is life and God knows what is best for me.”

“In terms of football, I didn’t get even a coin but I will always be grateful to my maker.”

“Though I didn’t get money from football but I got the opportunity to learn a lot of things. Traveling abroad is what I’m proud of because I never thought of traveling but that alone is a bonus,” he told Sly Wobete Koke of Bryt FM in Koforidua.

“If I die and come back again I will still play football despite not getting money,” he said.
