REVEALED: Man Utd's shocking pass stats - best (or worst?) in league

Published on: 22 November 2015

Manchester United are the pass kings (or is that dunces?) of the Premier League.

Before victory at Watford, BT Sport reported United make an average of 47 passes for every shot - over 13 more than nearest challengers on the leaderboard Swansea, with Leicester City taking only 16 passes between each shot.

United legend Paul Scholes snarled: "That says everything about them and is typical of the way Manchester United have played this season.

"Too many passes before getting into the final third, which is why the forwards like Wayne Rooney have struggled. They don't get the service."
